MBF Foundation
MBF Foundation was established as part of MBF's ongoing contribution and commitment to the community.
MBF Foundation is a charitable institution that supports and manages important community health initiatives using a portion of the MBF Group's investment income each year.
MBF Foundation invests in partnerships and activities that fall into the following categories:
- promotion of health research;
- promotion of health education; and
- promotion of programs for leading healthy lives.
The Foundation's current core focus areas for investment are:
- Wellness and obesity;
- Healthy ageing; and
- Keeping health care affordable.
Each year, MBF Foundation uses a majority of its funding to proactively seek out partnerships with other organisations. MBF Foundation researches and investigates possible relationships, and actively works at developing these partnerships with organisations that can deliver community benefits in our areas of focus.
The remainder of our funding is directed towards an Expression of Interest process.
Please note the MBF Foundation will not be holding an Expression of Interest round of funding in 2008. The Foundation anticipates it will hold another round of funding in October 2009.
